BIO

Endless Road started from a disputed conversation in 2004. That year founding members Jon Bohner & Andy Miller started working at the same auto-body shop in Northwest Ohio. Each had mentioned to the other about their musical inclination, but Jon, a guitarist, & Andy, a drummer, thought the other’s claims to be less than credible. The two finally got together in a ramshackle dwelling on the banks of Harrison Lake and showed off their musical chops. Very quickly both came to the realization that each was an accomplished and credible musician in his own right. From this evening on ‘The Harrison Lake Project’ was born.

One by one other local musicians were asked to join in ‘the project’. Andy a member of multiple Ohio bands, invited Jeff Wiles, bass player & fellow member of Toledo band SHAFT!, to attend, while Jon rounded up local guitar player, Mike Wyse to join in the fray. After months of practices and multiple original songs, Endless Road began.

The band released their debut studio album on their own MillerBone label in 2006. (please contact endlessroad_music@yahoo.com for a copy). The year 2008 saw the addition of seasoned bassist Paul Miller, the brother of founding member Andy. Famed local vocalist, Mary Jo Miller also joined the group, along with harmonica player and poet Lenny Miller in late 2009.

The music of Endless Road is steeped in tradition with beginnings rooted in the blues stylings and boot-stomping ballads of the old-timers who taught them the instruments they now play. They’re a rock n’ roll outfit with blues and country leanings. Endless Road is an every man’s band with a fan base that ranges from those 8 to 80. Their set lists consists of a mix of original and cover tunes.

Endless Road has headlined multiple venues and events, including the Garage Rock III stage (2006), sponsored by 92.5 KISS FM & 107.3 The Juice, in Toledo, Ohio, along with Wauseon Ohio’s Rally In the Alley (2007, 2008), Archbold Ohio's Party in the Park (2010), Stryker Ohio's Stryker-fest (2009), & Napoleon Harley Davidson's HOG Days of Summer (2010). They have expanded around the state to be featured in multiple larger venues, including Coldwater Ohio's McSobers. Endless Road has become a prominently featured act at Archbold Ohio locale, Stella Blue, and can often be caught there playing on the weekends. Lead Guitarist Jon Bohner also plays out acoustically, under the moniker Eddie Blue, at multiple local venues. The band continues to expand their fan base and locality.
